Head north on W W White Rd (SR-13 Loop) to second light (Gembler Rd), turn left and go 1 mile to the entrance on your left (across from Dixie Kampground).

Though not exactly 'convenient', there is a cluster of RV parks
10 to 17 miles from I-10 exit 564-A (the I-410 interchange).

I-10 eastbound: exit 564-A (I-410 South) ...then go 7 miles south to I-410 exit 9-A. I-10 westbound: exit 572 (I-35; US-90) ...continue straight (leaving I-10) and follow US-90 to I-410 then go 5 miles north to I-410 exit 9
From I-410 exit 9 or 9-A (TX-151)
