Gulf Shores Alabama RV Parks near I-10

Okay - Gulf Shores is certainly not 'convenient' to I-10 (or anywhere else for that matter) - but it is not that much of a detour if you are traveling through either to Florida or from Florida. And Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are great havens for a day or two of rest and relaxation.
If you are westbound, take exit 12 in Pensacola (I-110) and head south to US-98 west. Then just follow US-98, crossing Perdido Bay into Alabama, to AL-59 in Foley, turn left and let 59 take you to Gulf Shores and the Gulf of Mexico. To return to I-10 westbound just follow AL-59 all the way to I-10 and get on at exit 44.
If you are eastbound on I-10, take exit 44, follow AL-59 to Gulf Shores. Return via AL-59 to Foley and US-98 to Pensacola. These are all great highways and, usually, not a lot of traffic after you get out of Pensacola. You miss the worst of the city traffic by taking I-110 right through the center to Pensacola. Made to order!
